The two new buttons in Lotus Notes are ready and will be moved into the
production templates tomorrow for application on Sunday. The first is the
This is Spam button which is visible in the Inbox folder; when a user hits
this, all marked messages are checked for a Dspam signature in a header,
and if set, the signature is sent back to Dspam for reclassification after
which the message is deleted. The second button is the This is Not Spam
button. It is visible in the Junk Mail folder; marked messages have their
subject header cleaned (the {Spam?}
indicator is removed), they are
reclassified and then moved to the Inbox. While perhaps not perfect, we think
this will greatly ease the pain for the Lotus Notes users.
