Sucuk, also called soujouk is a delicious spicy sausage. In Germany it is sold in Turkish grocery stores. Cut the sucuk into slices (approximately 4 mm thick) and fry without additional fat in a pan, ensuring it doesn’t get too dark. Drain the grease and lay the slices on kitchen paper to dry. Serve as a snack with white bread, or with scrambled eggs for breakfast, as a good bacon Ersatz.
