A very tasty Gulasch, although it tends to be a little sweet because of the carrots and the onions. * 1Kg diced beef gulasch * 4 Onions * 2 Carrots * Paprika powder * Black ground pepper * Oil or lard * Tomato paste Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meat quickly. Peel and slice the carrots and the onions and add them to the meat. Add the tomato paste and stir. Add a cup of red wine and fill the pot with water until the meat is covered. Simmer for 1.5 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with mashed potatoes.
