The morning started off with a quite dry presentation by Kurt D. Zeilenga of OpenLDAP fame who works for ISODE. He talked about standardizations (IETF, ISO, ITU-T); it wasn't uninteresting, but as I said, a bit dry. Ludovic Poitou came from Grenoble and gave a very good presentation on the current status of OpenDS titled OpenDS: not just yet another LDAP server!. After a very bland lunch, I'm very excited to listen to Howard Chu, whom I spoke to shortly. Even though he looks a bit jet- lagged, I'm greatly looking forward to his OpenLDAP 2.4 highlights.
