I'm always amused nauseated by stupid email disclaimers stuck to the bottom of messages. Apart from being a huge waste of recyclable bits, I don't know of any country in which these masterpieces are legally binding. The problem is not usually caused by users, but rather by company lawyers who think a disclaimer will keep them out of trouble. One such masterpiece sent by Time Inc. was dissected by a lawyer a few years ago, and it makes for interesting reading. Others include the longest email disclaimer, the most politically correct, and the most incomprehensible disclaimers. And then there are the web site disclaimers... ;-)
