The missus' computer died in the course of last week, and I've been postponing re-installation. Since she muttered something like "either, or" today, I'm working at it. ;-) Putting in a new disk is easy. Grabbing hold of a new CD- ROM drive because the one built-in doesn't work was a bit harder. Then comes the formatting of the drive, and the Windows XP installation. Diskette with the RAID drivers, the anti-virus software, Mozilla's Thunderbird and Firefox, remembering stuff like Adobe Acrobat reader, vlc and of course Windows Service Pack 2 (it seems like years since I last did that; it probably is, too). What a mess.
