Firefox 2.0 RC1 has been on my desk since its release, and there are a couple of things that I find excellent.

  • If I close a tab by mistake, I can undo that close. Furthermore, there is a history of recently closed tabs which is useful if I have to reopen any of those
  • Text areas have spell-checking with the ubiquitous squiggly red lines; very good.

Probably just a matter of time, is add-on compatibility. I'm desperately waiting for the plugin to be made 2.0-compatible, and the only other plugin I rely upon is whatmon which I immediately upgraded to, of course.
