Upon searching for a calendaring platform with which my users can manage their own calendars, I found WebCalendar, a PHP based system which stores its data in a relational database such as MySQL.


The features and a first test last night look good: RSS feeds, RFC 2445 (a.k.a. iCalendar) support, users managed either by HTTP authentication, internally in the database, or via LDAP or NIS, group calendars, several administrators (an LDAP group enumerates those), customizeable reports, e-mail reminders, etc.
